 Thinking about getting involved in soaring, or adding a glider rating to your certificate? Silverado is a great solution for a number of reasons. We have 3, 2 seat gliders that move between 4 incredible soaring locations in Northern California depending on the season. All of the sites offer fantastic soaring conditions, reasonable tow costs and world class instructors.

If you're ready to join you can simply fill out our membership application and send it along with a check for the specified amount to our club Treasurer (contact information is on the application). If you still have some questions please don't hesitate to contact our Membership Coordinator, Ken Focht or any of the club officers and we'd be glad to talk about any questions that you have. Depending on the season we also suggest that you come out to one of our sites and meet with some of the members, get a tour and maybe even take a ride.

Silverado Soaring is one of the most affordable options in general aviation. With a modest initiation fee, low annual rates and no per -hour charges, access to our modern two seat sailplanes is a very cost effective way to soar with the eagles.
